Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading:

In Psalm 45, we find some beautiful verses extolling the power of God.

"Gird Thy sword upon Thy Thigh, O most mighty, with Thy glory and Thy majesty. And in Thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness... Thy Throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the Sceptre of Thy Kingdom is a right Sceptre... I will make Thy Name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise Thee for ever and ever."

That last part especially got me thinking. How can we, as a followers of God, make His Name to be remembered and draw people to praise Him? In Psalm 102:18, the Psalmist references the Creator in that He will be praised by those whom He has created - specifically, those who are aware that He is their Creator will praise His Name.

So this morning, I'd like to take a moment to honor our Creator. And I'd like to encourage you with some powerful proofs of His Creation, in these wonderful creatures, which absolutely could not have evolved!

Today, think about it. What do you have to praise God for today?  Choose one thing to praise Him for, and chat it in in the Comments at the end of this blog. Let's see how many things we can praise God for - and let's join together in praising and remembering His Name!
