Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

Today we begin reading the Book of Ephesians. Ephesians is essentially divided into two parts. The first part of Ephesians tells the Gospel Story, extolling and praising Yahweh for His Salvation. The second part of Ephesians tells our story (who we are in Christ), which shows our response considering the Gospel Story. Our story is a response to The Gospel Story, which Paul communicates by connecting the first part of Ephesians (on the Gospel Story) to the second part of Ephesians (our story) by the word "THEREFORE".

Someone sent me an e-mail that I had seen before sometime ago, but because it rather memorably encapsulates and "parable-izes" the message of Ephesians I share it with you now (original source unknown):

RECALL NOTICE:(Whether you're religious or not, this is clever and to the point!)

The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the HUMAN UNIT.

This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Sub-sequential Internal Non-morality," or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed. Some of the symptoms include:

1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion in the mental component
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this defect.

The Repair Technician, Yahshua, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.

The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R.Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure.

Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Yahshua, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Yahshua will replace it with:

1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes.

WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on Yahshua.

DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility. Thank you for your attention!

P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time by 'Knee mail'!

Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

Galatians 6:7-8 gives a powerful principle: the Reaping Principle. It says:
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

We sow to the flesh when we keep self at the helm and put out own desires and will as our focus. But when we keep Yahweh at the helm of our lives, putting His Desires and Will as our focal point, we are sowing to the Spirit and will reap life everlasting. This godly sowing is revealed in an amazing way through the physical center of the Bible...

Center of the Bible

What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
(Answer - Psalms 117)
What is the longest chapter in the Bible?
(Answer - Psalms 119)

Which chapter is in the center of the Bible
(Answer - Psalms 118)

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188

What is the center verse in the Bible?
(Answer - Psalms 118:8)

Does this verse say something significant about Yahweh’s perfect Will for our lives? The next time someone says they would like to find Yahweh’s perfect Will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His Will, just send them to the center of His Word!
Psalms 118:8 (NKJV) "It is better to trust in Yahweh than to put confidence in man."

Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

Today we start reading the book of Ezekiel. This is one of the most amazing prophetic books in the Bible.

The Book of Ezekiel is especially meant for the Watchmen. The prophecies of Ezekiel were written as a special “sign” (message) to the End-time Watchmen. These are the saints who will escape the destructive Judgments coming against the wicked in the Last Days. To these faithful ones the “mouth” (prophetic writings) of Ezekiel will be opened (understood). No more will these difficult prophecies be “dumb” (unintelligible).
Ezekiel 24:27 “In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I Am Yahweh.”
Ezekiel, a priest whose name means “El (God) will strengthen,” was among the Jewish exiles carried away to Babylon between the first and final deportation of Judah. During this time in Babylonian exile, the prophet wrote the Book of Ezekiel, which is the twenty-sixth book of the Bible. But Ezekiel didn’t originally write out the whole Book of Ezekiel on a single scroll. The Book of Ezekiel, as we have it today, is actually compiled from 13 individual scrolls, each of which contained a separate vision.

In Ezekiel 24:27 (see facing page) the prophecies found in the Book of Ezekiel were said to be special Messages of God, written specifically for the elect—the spiritual watchmen on the walls of Zion (Ezekiel 3:17).  But these
vital prophecies were also foretold to be “dumb” (unintelligible) until the Time of the End.

Our inability to decode and rightly understand the message of Ezekiel wasn’t because it was intended to be incomprehensible. Certainly Yahweh wouldn’t give His prophets visions which He never intended His people to understand. But the Book was rendered “dumb” to us largely because of faulty construction!

When the 13 scrolls of Ezekiel were discovered, the scribes assembled them in the wrong order, ignoring the date chronology given by the prophet himself. Because the book of Ezekiel was put together out of order, it has caused much misapplication of the Book and misunderstanding of Ezekiel’s prophecies, effectively confusing the Message of Ezekiel, which Yahweh intended for His people.

Wrongly ordering the prophecies in Ezekiel makes the Book of Ezekiel falsely appear to support the Zionist world-view, their claim of Israel, and their plans to build a millennial temple in Jerusalem—to just name a few of the big issues caused by incorrectly ordering the scrolls.

In reading the Book of Ezekiel, we can easily notice a thematic form of dating throughout, which hinges on the captivity of Jehoiachin. When we correct the sequence and read the Book according to the historical dating given by Ezekiel, a clearer picture emerges of both the heart of Yahweh and the purpose of Ezekiel. And within it we find a powerful message of the restoration of the two houses, the fall of Zionist Israel, the sealing, and the ultimate Judgment of Yahweh upon each End-time group and people.

How Can We Know the Correct Order of Ezekiel’s Scrolls?
Ezekiel actually gives the order of the scrolls—a point which has been long overlooked, until recently. Putting the chapters of Ezekiel back into the date order given by Ezekiel is key to correctly decoding the Messages of Ezekiel for the Last Days.

First Scroll: Ezekiel 8:1-19:14 Date Order Given by Ezekiel:
Ezekiel 8:1  “And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month...”
Second Scroll: Ezekiel 20:1-23:49 Date Order Given by Ezekiel:
Ezekiel 20:1  “And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month...”
Third Scroll: Ezekiel 24:1-25:17 Date Order Given by Ezekiel:
Ezekiel 24:1  “Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the Word of Yahweh came unto me, saying,”
By continuing in this fashion, using the dates given by Ezekiel, we may fully reconstruct the correct order of the Book and visions of Ezekiel. In so doing we gain the real, prophetic Message which Yahweh intends for His people in the Last Days.

Let's be dilligent and "study to show ourselves approved unto Yah, workmen that need not be ashamed for we are rightly dividing (correctly understanding - by His Grace) the Truth."

Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

One of my absolute favorite things is the Mazzaroth (which is the name Job gives for the original constellations - Job 38:31-32). It is Yahweh Who named the stars (gave their original Hebrew names) and it is Yahweh Who formed the constellations, gave them their assigned shapes, and speaks His Message through them.
Psalm 147:1-5 " Praise ye Yahweh: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely...He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their namesGreat is our Yahweh, and of great power: His understanding is infinite."

The Father's Messages in the sky reveal the Plan of Redemption. Portrayed in the heavens about 2000 years prior to the first book of the Bible being written, the Plan of Redemption has been revealed to lost mankind ever since the Fall. The stars and constellations are not about astrology. Astrology is how the devil has exalted his throne above the stars of God (Isaiah 14:12-15).

But when restored to their original names, shapes, meaning and message, the heavenly bodies do declare the glory of God (Psalms 97:6Psalm 19:1-4).

Because I have long believed that the star and constellation story mightily glorifies the living God, I have had a passion for restoring His Message. In fact, I have been researching and telling Yahweh's star story since 1998...  I have written a book on it, called God's Amazing Star Secret. And I'm now working on a workbook to accompany it.

For the year 2019, I am doing a new blog on the theme from this book. So, if you've enjoyed this year's Bible reading blog, and are interested in the Mazzaroth, you will want to plan to join me for next year's daily blog also. My new star blog will launch on January 1, 2019...  So, its coming soon!

Just for fun, since my new blog will be based upon my book, I thought I'd give you a sneak peak in the hopes that you'd be inspired by the deeper meaning of Psalm 147, and to invite you to pray with me for the Heavenly Father's original Messages to be restored and plainly presented in this coming blog. Here are few excerpts from my book, God's Amazing Star Secret.

After that introduction, the story begins as follows (all of the details for this story are gained from the original star and constellation names.)

In the star story, the people of Yah (Yahshua's Bride) are represented as woman (This constellation was called Bethulah, which means "virgin" in Hebrew.) The devil is portrayed in the sky as a dragon (constellation name: Draco). And our Saviour is portrayed as the Great Prince, whose star name is Orion...

In the star story, the Great Prince rescues Bethulah from the dragon's keep...  He slays the dragon, and marries Bethulah, taking her Home... Sound familiar? What a wonderful story - yet it's all true. Just as the books of Daniel and Revelation show prophetic images to portray entities or concepts, so the heavens tell the Plan of Redemption in symbolic form.

The next section of the book shows the constellations in drawing (on dark blue). The constellation and original star names are given, along with the Bible verses where those star names appear. There are two pages for every constellation (there were 48 original constellations, so this section contains a total of 96 pages) - one page for the constellation, and the facing page with information about that constellation, as is shown in the following samples:

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peak! And I invite you to join me in praying for this book project. Truly it was Yahweh who not only created the stars, but gave them their names and meanings. And when these original names and meanings are restored, the heavens do bring glory to God once again!

Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

From today's reading, I will focus on one of my favorite passages in Lamentations:
Lamentations 3:22-24 "It is of Yahweh's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Yahweh is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him."

One way that Yahweh's compassions are renewed to us every morning is that every morning, when we first awaken, we have been given new baby dendrites. Starting the day with praise for God and worship of Him uses those dendrites to overcome negativity and even a poor chemical imbalance in the brain! Praising God and positively using these new dendrites helps us rewire our brains into positive and healthy minds.

The Bible clearly connects mental health with how we think. Scripture tells us that the thoughts and feelings which come with having a faith-filled relationship with God are key in having a “sound mind.” In fact, mental health is a direct gift from God, in the first place (2 Timothy 1:7).

The following is a bit of powerful information on the subject of how to have a healthy and whole mind, by Dr. Caroline Leaf:

Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

In today's reading, we have Galatians chapter 4. This just happens to be one of the most often-misquoted Scriptures to support the idea that keeping Yahweh's Feasts (listed in Leviticus 23) is not only unnecessary, but "weak" and "beggarly"! We simply must look at Galatians 4:9-11 and see what message Paul intended, in context. First, let's focus on the misconstrued verses:

Galatians 4:9-11 "But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain."

Galatians 4:9-11 is commonly interpreted to mean that since the Feasts of Yahweh are observed days and times, they must be the days and times Paul is referencing as "weak" and "beggarly". If so, the keeping of them puts Christians "in bondage" and caused the apostle to feel that his work for such souls was wasted time ("labour in vain"). Strong words! It is a powerful warning!

As Christians, we certainly do not want to return to any "weak" and "beggarly elements" or former "bondage"! So, we want no part of keeping whatever days are being observed that produce such spiritual weakness! But the meaning of Paul's words here is escaping many, because they do not read Galatians 4:9-11 in context. To read these verses in context, we must consider the meaning of the verses surrounding them in Galatians 4. To discover whether or not Galatians 4:9-11 is warning us against keeping Yahweh's Feasts, or some other days, we must take notice of verse 8. In verse 8, just one verse prior, we find the key to identifying the days and times which are "beggarly elements":

Galatians 4:8 "Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods."

In the context then, we see that the Christians are being warned against the service of the "no gods" - which is idolatry. Returning to keeping the unholy days and times of the "no gods" (idols) is what Paul said was returning to the "weak" and "beggarly elements". Paul wasn't talking about Yahweh's holy days at all.

The days of the "no gods" are the days which come from ancient sun worship. One of these is Christmas, as I have already shown in my blogs (November 17-20, 2017).

So what does the Bible teach about the Feasts of Yahweh? To answer this, I invite you to read our doctrinal Study Guide (#4). It is available online and in printed form (which you may request through contacting me).

May our Heavenly Father bless us in staying strong and free in Him. May we never return to any weak and beggarly elements, which are keeping the pagan days like we used to when we unknowingly served the "no gods". Shalom and blessings!

Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

In today's reading, there are many encouraging things. For example, in Jeremiah 51:5, we find the beautiful promise that Yahweh is with His people.
For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the Lord of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
And then, in today's Psalm we read:
Psalm 144:9-10 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto Thee. It is He that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David His servant from the hurtful sword.
The Presence of Almighty Yahweh in you - His child - is intended (by Him) to be so obvious, that everyone around us can see it and will glorify God for His saving power.

As Henry Blackaby explained in his devotional book Experiencing God Day-by-Day (p 332, I have added the sacred Names):
God is with you. Yahweh's desire is to fill His people with His Spirit so that others recognize His powerful Presence in them. The Presence of Yahweh in a believer's life ought to be obvious. When the Spirit of almighty God fills a believer, the believer cannot go on living as before. Others will see God.
Yahweh told His people through the prophet Zechariah that His Presence ought to make a difference in their lives. If God's people walk closely with Him, people from every language and every part of the world would hear that they were a people who knew God. People would come from every nation on earth to find the true God among His people. If the people saw a child of God, they would long to be with him or her because in so doing they would be with Yahweh. God gave the vivid picture (in Zechariah) of ten people clinging to one believer, hoping to find God:
Zechariah 8:23 - "Thus saith Yahweh of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you."

What about you? Is it your desire for this Heavenly plan to be fulfilled in your life?
Christ's Presence ought to be so evident in your life that the people around you are drawn to you... Employers ought to want you in their workplace... Your life and your home ought to be a magnet for people as they sense God's Presence with you and your family. The more you allow Christ to make His Presence evident in your life, the more people will draw near to you and find Him.

Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

First, let me start off by saying a big thank you to all of you who read November 25th's blog and took the time to write in and bless me and my family with your prayers and words of encouragement! May God bless you all! It was such a blessing! Thank you!

We are standing in prayer. And in this, we are standing strong.

For today, I'd like to focus on one of my favorite verses in the Bible - Galatians 2:20:

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

So what does that wonderful and amazing message mean - on a practical level? What do I do with it?

Some take it to mean that now that Christ has died for me, I am freed to do as I please. I can keep on living in my flesh and just know that His Blood is enough to pay for my on-going waywardness. But actually, the powerful truth is that God doesn't save us in our sins - He saves us from them!

Being crucified with Christ doesn't just mean that He died for my sins. It also means that I lay down my old flesh and die. In Him, I am made a new creature. The fact that Christ now lives in me means that I am empowered to live in His love:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jkqv63YJ_YQ

Now that's a powerful and life-changing truth. That is the potent message of Galatians 2:20. Praise Yahweh!
