We also saw that the Passover-Seder-Egypt story is a powerful proof that the day begins at sunset, not in the morning, as many believers have come to think. This is because the Statutes plainly state that the Children of Israel killed the Passover (lamb) on Abib 14 and ate the meal (including the lamb) that night. Then they actually left Egypt on Abib 15, at night.
So, after eating the Seder on the eve of Abib 15 (the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread), when it was dark, the Children of Israel began their Exodus journey. Clearly, Abib 15 began before sunrise.
