Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading:

One of the most difficult things to do is to stay consistent and be faithful in our walk with God. We tend to get tired easily, in the "good fight of faith" (1 Timothy 6:12). We use the Heavenly Weapons (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) and gain the victory over temptation sometimes, but other times we get tired of fighting. We grow weary in "well-doing". But Scripture encourages us not to grow weary, for if we keep sowing in obedience, by His Grace, we will surely reap the worthwhile harvest. God has Promised:
Galatians 6:9  "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
In today's reading, Hebrews gives us some powerful encouragements to keep on sowing in righteousness. As we do, we can rest assured that we will reap God's promised blessings:
Hebrews 10:23-25  "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the Day approaching."
Hang in there, dear one! Keep on sowing, by His Grace. His Heavenly Harvest is sure to come.
