Basis for our Studies this Year:
The Bible tells us that the “End (of the world) is declared from the “beginning” (Isaiah 46:10). Certainly, this means that the early Biblical record of human history bears End-time prophetic significance. But, it’s actually even more specific than that. The original Hebrew word translated as “beginning” in Isaiah 46:10 is תישאר (rê’shı̂yth). This is the root of Bereshith, which is the Hebrew name of the first Book of the Bible, “Genesis”. In other words, prophecies of the End of the World are found in the Book of Genesis.
The Torah is one of the five keys for unlocking End-time Prophecy… Prophecy is unlocked through the Statutes!
Praying through the Sanctuary:
The Psalmist actually tells us that in praying through the Sanctuary, we will come to more intimately know Yahweh.
Psalm 77:11-13 – “I will remember the works of Yahweh: surely I will remember Thy Wonders of old. I will meditate also of all Thy Work, and talk of Thy Doings. Thy Way, O God, is in the Sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?”
· The Walls also have Pillars, made of Bronze sockets, with silver hooks and capitals
o The South and North sides have 20 pillars (10 is the number of the Commandments – the Yod, the Works of Yahweh – 2 is the Bet is Yahshua, the House of Yahweh, the indwelling; the number 20 is Kaf, which is the covering, allowing the Protection and Presence… the open hand (palm) receiving from Heaven – the Wings of a Bird (Yahshua’s Covering over us)
o On either side of the Gate, on the East side, there are three pillars (along with three fabric panels)… Three is the Gimel, represent the Covenant with Yahweh… It is the Elijah
o Adding all the pillars of the Courtyard, there are a total of 60, which is the Mem, being water – being made alive in water… Living Water…
· Sanctuary
Prayer Ingredient #4: The Pillars in the Sanctuary Wall – There are 60 bronze
and silver pillars grouped in 20’s and 3’s – It is doubling the concept of
Torah obedience, reiterating the significance of the Covenant, and calling us
out of the “waters” of the nations and into the “waters” of the Baptism
(meaning is in the 60 pillars, being the number mem). We are
called into the strength of Yahweh’s Glory and Redemption (bronze) and to be
hearers (shema) of His pure Word (silver) and classed among the
Redeemed.
§
Example: “I
praise You, Yahweh, for Your Torah and I choose today to fully walk in
obedience to You. I reject the old brackish waters of the world, and seek the
clean water of Your Kingdom and Word. I claim Your Redemption and trust in Your
Strength to provide it. Help me to live this choice in full Shema, today.”
· Sanctuary
Prayer Ingredient #5: The Courtyard – This area represents Justification.
It contains two items of furniture: The Altar of Burnt Sacrifice and the Laver
o
§ John
1:29 - “The next day John seeth (Yahshua) coming unto him, and saith, Behold
the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
§ Isaiah
53:4-5 “Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried
our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and
afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised
for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him;
and with His stripes we are healed.”
§
Not only does Yahshua die for us on Calvary, but
also we die with Him
·
Galatians 2:20 – “I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and
gave himself for me.”
·
Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies
a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be
not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove
what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will
of God.”
§
o The
Laver – this represents the grave. We resurrect with Messiah, in a
spiritual sense. We come up as new creatures, like the butterfly.
§
2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new.”
§
The butterfly is a beautiful picture of
this transformation… In
Justification we are made “just as if we had not sinned”… And we enter the grave as one thing… and come
out as a new thing… Like the butterfly
which enters the chrysalis as a repulsive worm and comes out as something
totally different.
o
Example: “Today,
I choose to put off my old nature, which is dead and buried with Messiah.
Instead, I ask You to transform into a new creature in You. May I live as a
blessing, as You Promised of Abraham’s Seed. Not my will, but Thine be done in
my life, in my sphere of influence, in my home.”
