Basis for our Studies this Year:
The Bible tells us that the “End (of the world) is declared from the “beginning” (Isaiah 46:10). Certainly, this means that the early Biblical record of human history bears End-time prophetic significance. But, it’s actually even more specific than that. The original Hebrew word translated as “beginning” in Isaiah 46:10 is תישאר (rê’shı̂yth). This is the root of Bereshith, which is the Hebrew name of the first Book of the Bible, “Genesis”. In other words, prophecies of the End of the World are found in the Book of Genesis.
The Torah is one of the five keys for unlocking End-time Prophecy… Prophecy is unlocked through the Statutes!
The Foods Yahweh has Given Mankind to Eat (in Torah) all Reveal Powerful Spiritual Truths...
The first
diet was fruit (by definition, fruit contains seed)
Genesis 1:29 “And
God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is
upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the
fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”
· Meat is merely “food”
· Originally, people were given fruit
from the trees and fruits from the herbs (plants)
Trees
represent people – character qualities (Judges 9:8-14)
· Olive Trees and Fig Trees – specifically represent Israel
o The
two olive trees in Heaven are the two witnesses of Revelation 11 and Zechariah

o Yahshua
cursed the fig tree – representing Israel, who look like they’re Yahweh’s
people, but don’t bear His fruit.
o Every
tree that does not bear fruit will be hewn down and cast into the Fire at the
end of the world
· Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of himself as
a tree
· At Sukkot trees are used to decorate
the Sukkahs, because they show the character qualities of the saved people of
Yahweh

§ Pine – THOSE WHO ENDURE FAITHFULLY AND
PURGE OUT SIN (ELIJAH MESSAGE)
· Isaiah 60:13 - “The glory of Lebanon shall come
unto thee, the fir tree, the pine (H8410 “enduring”, a species of hard wood, or
a lasting tree… “He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.”) tree,
and the box together, to beautify the place of My Sanctuary; and I will make
the place of my feet glorious.”
· Matthew 10:22 - “And ye shall be hated of all men
for my Name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
· Characteristics of the pine tree, it
stands straight pointing upwards (representing glorifying Yahweh) in spite of
winds (false doctrine) and storms (persecution/pressure)
· Pine resin is used to make
turpentine… Turpentine is purgative and
purifying, although unpleasant.
o
Elijah
was from Gilead, a region famous for healing because of the “balm of
Gilead”… But the balm was a
turpentine-like substance…
o The
Elijah message functions like spiritual turpentine, its purgative, its hard,
but its healing
§ Palm – PRAISE TO YAHWEH – Every saved
person will be reflecting the Glory to Yahweh, rather than taking it to self.
Psalm 92:11-13 -The Righteous “flourish” as the Palm and are in His Court
(Revelation says the 144,000 will serve in His Temple). “Flourish” (parach) “to
break forth as a bud… to flourish abundantly”
· Palms flourish in the dryest
conditions – the
desert – but where palms are, water is… Spiritual palm trees possess the Living
Water
o Psalm 63:1 –
the desert is the world without Yahweh’s indwelling Spirit / Living Water
o Isaiah 50:4 –
how palm trees get the Living Water, is they waken morning by morning and hear/shema
the Word of Yahweh
§ Myrtle – THE SEALED SAINTS - Isaiah 55:13
identifies the myrtle trees as those who have the Name of Yahweh (His Mark,
Character, and honor His Authority) and His Mark, which is the Seal of the
Living God… So, at Sukkot, the saved are
already Sealed!
· The Revelation 14 people are fully
made up (Sealed) by the final Sukkot
· Willows, like the palms grow with
water… Willows connect roots
underground… and share water
· Willows spread soothing branches,
offering respite and protection from the heat of the sun (more than your
average tree)… Yahweh’s End-time people are to be like the willow. We are the
connect to the Source of Life (Living Water) and spread it to those in dry
lands… We are also to offer protection from Babylon’s sun-scorching…
· Ezekiel 17:5 “He took also of the seed of the
land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set
it as a willow tree.”
· Psalm 137:1-2 “By the rivers of Babylon, there we
sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the
willows in the midst thereof.”
· Willow bark contains auxins (plant
growth hormones), that are used for rooting new cuttings… Willows stimulate growth (spiritual growth)
· Willow was an ancient remedy for
fever and pain, containing salicylic acid, from which we get aspirin.
Spiritual
Meaning of Figs –
ISRAEL in both faithfulness (blessing) or barrenness (cursing)… Faithfulness is
represented in figs… Barrenness is a fig
tree without figs, which is hypocrisy
· Yahweh is looking for figs
o Jeremiah 8:13
“I will surely consume them, saith Yahweh: there shall be no grapes on
the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things
that I have given them shall pass away from them.”
· Yahshua
cursed the fig tree, a symbol of a person in hypocrisy, without the fruit of
faithful obedience to Torah (the sweet figs)
o Matthew 21:18-19
“Now in the morning as He returned into the city, He hungered. And when He saw
a fig tree in the way, He came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves
only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward forever. And
presently the fig tree withered away.”
o Matthew 7:16-20 “Ye
shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of
thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt
tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit,
neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that
bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore
by their fruits ye shall know them.”
· Figs are one of the strongest
prophetic symbols of Israel/Torah-keeping…
· The sweetness of the fruit (similar
to honey) is reminder of the sweetness in Torah
o Psalm 19:7-11 “The Law of Yahweh
is perfect, converting the soul: the Testimony of Yahweh is sure,
making wise the simple. The Statutes of Yahweh are right, rejoicing
the heart: the Commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the
eyes. The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever: the Judgments
of Yahweh are true and righteous altogether. More to be
desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than
honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and
in keeping of them there is great reward.”
o Figs are not only sweet, they also
have many seeds… Seeds represent the
Living Seed (the Saved are represented as being the Seed of Abraham) –
they represent “the innumerable Seed” of Abraham.
· Message of the Fig: Yahweh is
examining His people for real, spiritual fruit
Spiritual
Meaning of Apples – Apples
are the Trumpets of the fruit world
· Apples signify delight, love,
comfort, and the sweetness of Yahweh’s Presence – They represent His Word
o Love – Shema
level - Song of Solomon 2:3 - “As the apple tree among the trees… I sat down
under his shadow.”
o The Word of Yahweh – Proverbs 25:11 – “A Word fitly spoken is like
apples of gold in pictures of silver.”
o Delight in Yahweh
- Psalm 40:8 - “I delight to do Thy Will, O my God: yea, Thy Law is
within my heart.”
