Thoughts and Commentary on Today's Reading

Hello, and welcome to today’s blog! It’s me again! Today I chose to talk about Psalms 118. This passage really spoke to me personally, because, to me it shows just who Yahweh is!
He will never leave us. We are to be His battle axe, and that certainly doesn’t mean life is going to be a cake walk… but He will be with us through it all if we will let Him!

Another thing I found was the reminder that not only will God never leave us, but that we can fully put our trust in him because unlike the humans of this world, He will never fail us!

Psalms 118: 5-6
"I called upon Yahweh in distress: Yahweh answered me, and set me in a large place. Yahweh is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Psalms 118: 8-9
"It is better to trust in Yahweh than to put confidence in man.  It is better to trust in Yahweh than to put confidence in princes."

God will never fail us. While some of the tasks He may ask of us may indeed seem impossible, just Know He will be right behind you giving you strength. All you need to do, is move forward in trust.
